Paradise Chat Community Guidelines

Paradise Chat is an admin-led service for people aged 18 or older. Members can message assigned official accounts and participate in administrator-created groups. Members cannot directly message, search for, or add other members.

These Guidelines apply to messages, media, files, reactions, reports, profile information, and other use of Paradise Chat.

1. Treat people with respect

Do not threaten, harass, bully, stalk, shame, or target a person. Do not use hateful or dehumanizing language about protected characteristics. Do not encourage violence or self-harm.

2. Keep people safe

Do not share sexual exploitation material, intimate content without consent, instructions for serious wrongdoing, or another person's private information. Do not impersonate a person or staff role. Credible threats and urgent safety risks may be escalated to the appropriate authorities where legally required.

3. Be honest and lawful

Do not run scams, distribute malware, send spam, evade moderation, or use Paradise Chat for unlawful activity. Respect copyright, trademark, privacy, and other rights.

4. Follow workspace controls

Administrators assign official accounts, create groups, and determine group membership. Do not evade a denied join request, group ban, suspension, media limit, or posting restriction. Auto-join groups cannot be left. Other groups may be left when the interface offers that option.

Staff replies always show the staff member's name and role. Misrepresenting a staff identity or asking staff to hide that attribution is not permitted.

5. Reporting and moderation

Use the report action for content or accounts that may breach these Guidelines. Reports reach authorized staff and are reviewed within 24 hours. You can also block another member to hide that person's messages from your own view in shared groups. A block is private, tells nobody, removes nobody from a group, and does not ask staff to review anything. Blocking is therefore not a substitute for reporting conduct that may put you or somebody else at risk.

Moderators may remove any message in a group they moderate, ban a member from that group, and pin a message. Administrators may take workspace-wide action.

A removed message remains visibly marked “Removed by a moderator.” Moderation actions and outcomes are recorded in an audit trail that cannot be edited or deleted, including by an administrator. The trail includes actions from the app and the admin panel. Reports and audit records are retained for 12 months, including after account deletion with the member's name detached or replaced by “deleted member.”

6. Enforcement ladder

Context and severity matter, so the Operator may skip steps when immediate safety or legal risk requires stronger action.

  1. First breach — guidance or warning. For a low-severity first breach, staff may explain the rule, record a warning, and remove the content. The member normally keeps access.
  2. Second breach — removal and restriction. A repeated or more serious breach may result in another content removal, a formal warning, temporary posting restrictions, or a ban from the affected group.
  3. Repeated breach — suspension. Continued violations may result in a workspace suspension. A suspended member can read existing content and can still write to the designated Support account to appeal.
  4. Severe breach — immediate suspension or removal. Credible threats, exploitation, malicious software, serious privacy violations, deliberate evasion, or other high-risk conduct may lead directly to suspension or removal without earlier warnings.

Administrators may reverse a group ban or suspension after review. A member may appeal through Support or [CONTACT ADDRESS], providing relevant context. An appeal does not erase the audit record.

7. Account deletion is not an enforcement bypass

You may request account deletion in the app or at the public deletion URL. Deletion completes within 30 days after a seven-day grace window unless you sign in and cancel it. Reports and audit records remain for 12 months with your name detached or replaced so that deleting an account cannot erase a safety or moderation history.
